Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Carvoeiro und der Wohnung. Die Lage ist für uns genau richtig gewesen und die Wohnung hatte alle unsere Wünsche erfüllt. Wir kommen sicher wieder. Tolle Gegend mit vielen Möglichkeiten für Unternehmungen. Danke an Petro für viele Tipps und auch dank an seine Familie ! Wir wünschen alles erdenklich Gute für die Zukunft. A beautiful place to stay. We stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. Right on the main strip so it’s close to everything. Amazing views and access to everything you need. The hosts are also amazing people. They have a wealth of knowledge of things to do in the area and are very responsive. An overall amazing experience in Portimao

Amazing place to stay. Our child felt at home here and loved it. The terrace is perfect. Great spot. Easy to find. Parking close by. Nice spots to walk. Great check in. Pedro have great instructions for arrival and was great at communicating if needed! Had great sleep at night you don’t hear any sounds outside! Also place is in between two great spots if you visit sagres and portimao 👍

Wonderful place with nice views from the deck, a large comfy bed, and wash machine. Very quiet street and 5 minute walk to Porto de Mos beach (which was beautiful). Easy 25-30 minute walk into downtown Lagos. Also quite enjoyed the pool and restaurant / bar (Illicit Burgers) on the premises.

The apartment is truly perfect. Pictures speak for themselves. Location is also perfect with so many restaurants and the beach nearby and a great grocery store 500 feet away! Pascal was a wonderful host. When you contact him thru Airbnb, a message comes up saying that his typical response time is 10 min which is outstanding. In our experience it was more like 2 minutes! He is so friendly and very helpful. We had 2 minor questions during our stay (no issues!) and Pascal was so quick to help. He definitely has love for this family home and makes you feel like you are welcomed into a family members home. We hope to return some day soon!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Nous avons eu une hôte accueillante et souriante. Les instructions etaient très claire, l’appartement très propre et le quartier a deux pas de la mer. Seul bémol, le bruit des travaux en journée mais rien de repoussant. C’était un plaisir !

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ahua Portugal, where our host Anne guided us with thoughtful local tips and quick responses. Nestled on a peaceful hillside above Seixe Valley, the modern house had every comfort we needed and felt like the perfect retreat. We were deeply inspired by Anne’s dedication to the land. She has led a reforestation project across her 18-hectare estate, planting over 30,000 cork trees to restore the forest after wildfires. Tip: Do plan to bring a reliable car. The unpaved access roads are best navigated with a vehicle that has good clearance. If you’re seeking a serene, private getaway with a caring, responsive host deeply connected to her land, Ahua Portugal is an exceptional choice! Five stars all the way, and thank you, Anne!

Asa’s home is a great spot for a family vacation, it is very comfortable, located in a peaceful complex with a beautiful pool and in close proximity (walking distance) to a beautiful beach. The children enjoyed the home so much as it also had a small playground next door to the house. There were two other areas also within a walking distance with restaurants and other beaches. All in all greatly recommended. Thank you for the beautiful visit. 🤍

Casa de Bandeira is one of the best Airbnb's I have stayed at. Didn't really know what to expect from Albufeira and it is a bit "lively" with bars etc. in town but this place is a complete oasis. Totally near enough for an easy walk to varied bars and restaurants in five minutes, but very quiet once inside. I'm sure it's easy enough to drive or Uber to supermarkets but there is a Spar a five minute walk away which is small but generally well stocked for convenience. The villa is just beautiful, spotless on arrival and cleaned every other day. Comfortable beds, nice linen and towels. Bathrobes and slippers provided. It is really spacious and you definitely do not feel on top of each other. The absolute piece de resistance though is the rooftop. Equipped with a small fridge, shower and toilet, it is an amazing place to spend the day and/or evening. Originally we decided not to heat the pool (May) but once we decided to do so, we spent hours in there. Thank you so much, we will be back!

Marinas place is amazing! Exactly as described. Placed in a great location in the old town, it was super easy to get to everything. Marina was super helpful with any questions we had, her response time was very quick. We especially loved both terraces! Would definitely recommend when staying in Portugal:)

We had a wonderful stay at Lucy’s place! The house was just perfect for the four of us- two adults and two kids. Everything was super clean, beds were very comfortable, short walk to wonderful restaurants and to the beach. We will definitely come back if we are lucky enough to visit this beautiful village again!

Exceptional location in Old Town Lagos! Sarah was incredibly communicative! As the description points out, there is no air conditioning, but Sarah gives pointers as to how to keep the place cool. Also, the entry stairs are a bit steep so be warned if you have large luggage. You’re literally minutes from restaurants and bars and there is an exceptional coffee shop just down the block. The place is a gem—felt very local!!

Wir waren mit Freunden 1 Woche in Laras Unterkunft und haben uns von Anfang an wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist super sauber gewesen. Lara war immer gut erreichbar. Die Einrichtung ist sehr modern und der Pool hat den ganzen Tag Sonne! Das Haus entsprach absolut unseren Erwartungen. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt von unserer Seite: Das Haus liegt an einer viel befahrenen, lauten Landstraße in einem Wohngebiet in Aufbau. Man muss mit Baulärm rechnen. Vielen lieben Dank, Lara!! Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit!

We had a great stay. The space was very modern and comfortable and in a very walkable location. We took the opportunity to buy a great bottle of wine for under 4 Euros at the grocery store and enjoyed it on the rooftop patio in the early evening! Thanks for a lovely stay. Carol

An amazing location and beautiful home with lots of extra amenities. It’s about a 16 minute walk to the busy parts of Lagos (which isn’t much walking at all in Portugal), and the apartment itself is absolutely stunning. Veronica was wonderful to communicate with, giving recommendations and responding quickly to any questions we had. The pool was an awesome bonus too! I truly felt the culture of Lagos in this neighbourhood and I have zero complaints!

Great friendly hosts who really made sure that we felt at home. Location is perfect - right by the beach. Easy drive to nearby grocery store and town centre. Home was very spacious and had a beautiful window. Enjoyed the stay.

Une vue exceptionnelle, un appartement parfait, beaucoup d’espace, accès facile à l’appartement,au marché et au restaurant! C’était superbe! Il y avait beaucoup de travaux dans le secteur ce qui ne nous a toutefois pas embêté mais ça justifie notre évaluation du quartier. Hôte très très réactif!!! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié son support lorsque nécessaire! À recommander vivement!

Fabulous location! Beach, amazing boardwalk, and town very near, just lots of stairs! But that is beautiful Portugal! Views from porch were fantastic; everything you needed was in the kitchen and it was a very welcoming place. We didn’t use the pool, but it is a good size and well maintained. Master shower is a bit tight, but a big beautiful bath is 5 steps away, so really no big deal. I would definitely book here again if the opportunity arises!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kasia's place. Kasia was extremely helpful with providing us with invaluable information regarding things to do and places to go whilst in Lagos. We would definitely stay there again.

Delighted: location & pool and view from the balcony (very private). Bolt from train / town €3-5. Apartment is basic, outdoor furniture looks new. Marcos & Elaine take pride & care of the apartment . Elaine baked Pastel de Nata, truly the best I’ve had to date in Portugal. The only frustration, advertising a coffee maker, and not say it requires “special sized coffee pods” or where to get them. I specifically asked at check in about the pods, Marcos agreed they were there, neither one of us looked in the box. An hour later, noticed only a few pods & I messaged Marco showing him a photo & he said that was all they provide for the Welcome Gift, no advice of “how or where” to get more pods. This is very disappointing, advertisement with photo of a proper coffee maker for the duration of paid stay yet guest can’t use the coffee maker the entire stay. Also saying that there is “Instant” coffee provided is not acceptable. Restaurant downstairs has real coffee, felt like being at a hotel.

Wir waren mit unserer Tochter in der Wohnung von Ingmar und hatten eine fantastische Zeit. Die Wohnung ist viel größer als man auf den Fotos denken würde. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich wünschen kann. Zum kochen abends und draußen auf dem Balkon essen einfach perfekt! Ein wunderschöner Strand ist 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Außerdem sind in der Umgebung alle highlights der algarve mit dem Auto erreichbar. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen und waren sicher nicht das letzte Mal zu Gast. Vielen Dank Ingmar!

The Pros: Fantastic central location, excellent air conditioning, and the balconies were a highlight; the one off the living room offers a beautiful view of the sunrise. The unit was spotless, clearly professionally cleaned, spacious, and beautifully designed. It exceeded our expectations and had nearly every amenity imaginable. Concerns from past reviews seem resolved: the sliding glass doors worked perfectly, and I saw no mold in the bathroom. The Cons: Check-in is not contactless—the property manager meets you in person, which can be tricky to coordinate if you're arriving from abroad. There's only one set of physical keys, which made it a bit inconvenient for my mom and I because we couldn't do separate activities throughout the day without needing to first coordinate the key situation.
