Holiday rentals with a sauna in Saariselkä

We had a great time at this beautiful cottage. The bedding and amenities are perfect. The location is ideal. Mike is very available and attentive. We highly recommend it.

We spent a week with our two small children and had a wonderful time. The appartment was fantastic: clean, cozy, spacious, with a very big and well equipped kitchen, a good sauna, shoe dryer, books, toys and games for the children. Short distance to supermarket and city centre. Anna-Kaisa lent us two sledges and gave us a good advice where to go sledding (Jänkävaara). Furthermore she gave us a very good and detailed instruction in advance and responded very quickly to upcoming questions during our stay. We can highly recommend this place and would love to come again.

Very nice and cosy flat in the center of Ivalo. The appartment in fully equiped and close to the shops and hikes. Perfect location in the center but quiet. A plus for the inside balcony and the sauna in the appartment. Everything was perfect !! I recommend

Thanks for the last minute commitment! We had a very nice little accommodation with a great sauna, beautiful kitchen and loving furnishings. The communication was very quick and friendly! The location at the national park offered many hiking opportunities.

I stayed with my family for 3 days and it was minus 10 degrees cold, but I was blessed with the weather☀️ Airbi is within a 5-minute walk from the center of Saariselka, but I highly recommend it to everyone because it is surrounded by nature, and it is a nice location.😉 The host, Ilka, was very kind and kind, and talked about Finland a lot. Airbi is a studio room, so it is slightly narrow for three adults, but the sofa bed and folding chair for the third person were well prepared. The sauna is spacious and relaxing, with snow scenery and mimi trees from the window, and the sight is still baked!❄️ The dryer was very powerful for ski equipment, and the clothes dried quickly. I wanted to see the Northern Lights, so I chose Saariselka for my stay, but I was advising Finns to think about other things to do because Aurora was a natural phenomenon that I couldn't see when I stayed in a glass eagle for a week.That's why I was asking Ilka to snowmobile and husky dog sled in addition to the Northern Lights tour. For those of us who want to see the Northern Lights, Ilka doesn't spend money on professional photography, BBQs, etc., and if there is a possibility of seeing the weather, the Northern Lights Index, etc.Luckily, I was able to see the aurora on the first night of my arrival at Saariselka, so I was able to take me three places by car and see the aurora like a curtain down from the universe.✨ Also, it was a snowmobile hosted by Ilka during the day, climbing to the observatory where the Northern Lights were visible, and running in the blue sky and snow was great! Ilka introduced a company called Husky Co in the center of town by Ilka, which was expensive, but the dogs were very energetic and cute, and I recommend it because it was an unforgettable memory in the blue sky and white snow.🐕 Ilka has made Finland a lovely place we will never forget🇫🇮 This time, I'd love to visit Finland in the summer. Nice apartment for a week in Saariselkä as a base for all kinds of trips in this beautiful area. There were two of us, but you can also stay here with the four of us. I would book here again!

This place is an absolute pearl in Ivalo! It is clean, welcoming, decorated to fit the beautiful Lapland environment! The hostess is nice, and would do anything to make your stay enjoyable! I highly recommend it!

Great place to stay, quick and easy check in. The sauna is definitely a highlight and the beds are also very comfortable for sleeping. However, I think there is a lack of wifi. If you're there for a week like us, you already need internet 🛜 Otherwise, everything was really great 🥰

Really nice house. I could live there. Right next to river which is good for watching aurora in the winter. Sauna was also good.

If you're thinking about visiting Ivalo, this house is the best option. The location is excellent, just a very short distance from downtown for shopping. It's very quiet, the heating works great, it has a sauna that works very well, and the house has all the amenities you see in the photos. I traveled with my partner and we were both delighted. Niklas as a host was fantastic—he always responded to all our messages, was constantly attentive to our needs, and provided us with plenty of information about the city and its surroundings; he even took us on a night excursion to see the auroras! Totally recommended.

The accommodation is on the heights of Saariselka, very easy to reach by car. The space is well functional. We particularly enjoyed the stove, the beautiful sauna and the sheltered car space. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds are comfortable. Enjoy your stay.

Very comfortable house in a great location . The dog enjoyed the yard to sleep for a few days. Everything is crowned by a wood sauna . Thank you very much and will definitely be back.

The host has been very accomodating to us and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay in this airbnb. We are looking forward to stay here again if we ever come here for our next holiday. You won't regret staying here. Accomodation is great. Everything in the house is suffice. Sauna is interesting as it's our first time experiencing it. We did sauna almost everyday. View outside the accomodation is awesome. Beautiful weather during winter. We love it! And yes you can see aurora borealis. You can also walk further down to minimal/low lighting area and you can see the aurora clearly ☺️ We missed this airbnb already. Love, from Singapore ❤️

We ( three generations ) spent wonderful days at Tuija's house! The house with its surroundings is an oasis ! We were immediately enchanted by the extremely lovingly furnished and decorated house! Even nicer than expected. Very comfortable beds! Great amenities throughout. A very nice campfire place from which we could see northern lights on some evenings!! What a fortune! Tuija brought us grill plates so we could enjoy our food around the campfire! In addition, winter clothing (thermal suits +snow boots) of all sizes was provided! There were also snowshoes and sleighs. In the house, a wonderful fireplace provided added warmth and coziness! We also used the sauna and the beautiful bathtub a lot. Overall a dream to spend holidays in Tuija's house, we didn't want to leave...

Beautiful and very cozy apartment. The communication with Pirko went really well and Pirkko was very friendly. Comfortable beds ensured a successful rest for the next day.
