This is the #1 vacation destination in the state of Texas if you have a 4x4 you are able to drive over 60 miles of beach to the Port Mansfield Jetties very remote and no cell service so only go if you are good at survival. The first 5 miles of beach is pretty pristine all in itself and no 4x4 needed till the 5 mile marker.
