Dive bar with lots of TVs for catching the game. Cash only, but they have an ATM inside. Lots of games, from pool, shuffle board, and bags, to arcade games like Pacman and Big Buck Hunter. Cheap buckets. Great fried chicken as well!

My favorite place in STL, and I just so happen to live 3 blocks away! It's a relaxed, inviting atmosphere with the best straight-forward beer in the city and some incredible food from their tiny kitchenette. Everything is great, but the Sriracha cream cheese pretzels and the hummus and pita are favorites. All their beer is 10oz pours for $2.50 or 20oz for $5 so you can really sample. Taco Sunday is also a great bet in the summer (Soup Sunday in winter). Closed on Mondays.

My go-to bar (when I'm not at Civil Life). This neighborhood staple gets all sorts coming through the door, from hipsters to lifetime locals. The food is really good and the beer selection is solid. Cocktails hit the spot as well. The patio is large and inviting with a nice big fire pit.

Great wine bar with a beautiful patio. Mid-week late night special is awesome. Romantic atmosphere, but I've been known to stop in there after a night at the climbing gym as well!

The home for soccer fans. Large tap list and a huge patio. The burger joint next door will bring your food over to you after you order.

Good, cheap cup of coffee. Plenty of space to hang out for awhile. The muffones (muffin/scones) are great! Open all day long with some decent and cheap lunch options.
