Everything Else

White City is the new hippest part of residential London. Thanks to the huge redevelopment of the BBC Television Studios, the continued retail development at Westfield and a re-vamp of everything around Shepherd's Bush, this area now has plenty of cool places to hang out for a bite to eat, drinks, go shopping, relax, enjoy outdoor greenspace, attend gigs, and live London Life to the full.

Arts & Culture

You can see how White City has developed through the decades from Summer Olympic Games venue to legendary Dog Racing Stadium to BBC Television Headquarters and now State-Of-The-Art media centre and the new artistic hub of London. Marvel at the new architecture, high-rise developments, "White City Living" development and all the old stuff in between! At the White City Place media centre (and at various other points around) there are wall plaques highlighting some of the local history...

One of the oldest and best botanical gardens in the world! Even on a wet day, Kew has plenty to offer thanks to the enormous glass houses and galleries contained within the grounds. On sunny days enjoy a picnic or stroll through the expansive lawned and shady wooded areas. Botanical specimens large and small from around the world - a Japanese garden, a Chinese garden, desert, jungle, savannah, temperate zones - these are all represented here and more.
