There are lots of "fruteries" in the neighborhood, but this is probably my favorite and one of the closest. Great for fresh fruit, croissants, french bread, coffee and other essentials.

(Quebec separatism manifests itself in ways large and small, including the designation of things such as this library as national, rather than provincial. The Nation of Quebec.) There is an art gallery in the basement with free, rotating exhibitions. There are a couple of cafes in the complex as well.
