Portland has an incredible trails system including many trails through and around our neighborhood. Many of the trails were built and continue to be maintained by one of our dear friends who works for this great organization. (and, *shameless plug alert* your host Peter, built some of the stone work of the East End trails). go for a walk !

Right at the end of Congress Street you'll find spectacular views any time of day. The grassy hill is perfect for picnics, sunbathing, star gazing, play ground, tennis and basketball courts, historical monuments, flop with a book or run hill sprints! In winter you will find sledding (yes you can borrow our sled) , ice skaters (if the park puddle freezes well) and even folks testing their skis and snowboards! Walk down the hill and connect to the Eastern Prom Trail which you can follow all the way around the Back Bay OR stroll into the Old Port.
