Beautiful campus for strolling around on a nice day. If you've never been, it's worth a wander. The library is a must see, go to the "Harry Potter reading room", absolutely beautiful! They also have two museums on campus: The Burke Museum (Washington State Museum of Natural History and Culture) and The Henry (Contemporary Art Gallery).

"Chihuly Garden and Glass features of Dale Chihuly's most popular works and architectural installations, highlighting the wide-ranging breadth and scope of his career." A 40-foot tall, glass and steel structure covering 4,500 square feet of light-filled space containing an expansive 100-foot long sculpture in a color palette of reds, oranges, yellows and amber. You can take light rail to Westlake Station, then the Monorail to the Seattle Center and you'll end up at the doorstep to the Chihuly Glass museum and cafe (also at the base of the Space Needle).

I wouldn't miss this. MOHAI as known in Seattle reopened in late 2012, with new galleries and multimedia displays, in a new location in Lake Union Park at the north edge of downtown. While there, boat-lovers shouldn’t miss the nearby Center for Wooden Boats, with displays, more than 100 historic boats, a wharf, rental boats and free vintage-boat rides on Sundays (first-come, first served). No admission charge. Take light rail to Westlake Station - get off and go up to the street where you walk to 5th and Olive to find the South Lake Union Street Car - get on that and ride about 5-10 minutes and hop off right outside the Museum which is in an old Navy Building. Great restaurants near by.
