Take the snorkeling gear and go to this wonderful fish sanctuary. Get there early, as parking fills up by 8am. Or go there early in the afternoon, after some of the early birds leave. There is a fee and short film that you must watch.

Located right outside of Waikiki, 1.5 miles away from the unit, is world famous, Diamond Head. Hike/walk to the top for a terrific view of this side of the island. Take a bottle of water and a few $$, as there is a small fee to take that hike.

There is an ABC Store on every corner of Waikiki. But, if you want to do some realistic priced shopping for food, you NEED to get out of Waikiki. There is a Sam's Club/Walmart on the mountain side of Ala Moana. There are 5 Costco on the island, but the nearest one is about 7 miles from the unit.
