An indoor, very San Francisco mini-golfing experience, with a bar and restaurant. You can't drink while you're golfing. This place was funded through an online crowdfunding platform, and is a hidden gem if you're looking for a fun evening activity.

Food Scene

This place is super close and super dependable. Their food is nothing special (you won't be telling everyone back home about it), but it does the trick and the atmosphere provides a great community vibe. When it's busy, be prepared to wait a little while.

Lovely Italian restaurant that will make you feel like you've stepped into a portal into a hole-in-the-wall restaurant in Rome. Friendly staff, intimate setting, great food.

Hillside Supper Club is a really nice and under appreciated gem - midwestern comfort food, and great cocktails. If you're looking for a nice dinner that won't break the bank with a local vibe, this is your spot!

A great local spot to head to if Precita Park Cafe isn't your jam. Charlie is often there and is one of the friendliest guys you'll ever meet. Great for a quick bite before exploring the city - but also a nice place to for an afternoon with a cup of coffee and a book. They open at 6:30am (30 minutes before Precita Park Cafe) if you're an early bird, but they're closed on Sundays.

Sightseeing

Very nice hike to the top of this hill - tons of dogs, great views of the city. A nice way to start or end the day. When the fog isn't present, you can catch some epic sunrises and sunsets from up here. If you're a runner, a trail system exists all over the hill for you to spin your wheels on.

We love this place. It's not open super late but they have bar games, tons of seating (if you're lucky you'll get to sit on the heated furniture) and they always have a food truck outside. Check the hours to make sure they work with your schedule!

Essentials

A larger organic grocery store in case Harvest Hills Market is too small for your liking. This place is EXPENSIVE, but it's locally owned and that comes at a cost these days! The avocados are ALWAYS perfectly ripe here.

This organic corner store is super close and they have everything you'd need from a larger market. They also have great fresh produce. If you need to pick up breakfast fixings or supplies for sandwiches (or literally anything else that's food related), you'll find it here!
