The Antro del Corchia, with its approximately 53 km of tunnels and shafts, holds the national record for the largest underground karst system. The difference in height, with its 1187 m of height between the opening and the higher end of the cave is one of the highest traceable in Italian and European territory. The special feature of karst system of Corchia lies mainly in its extreme morphological complexity and evolution. It is actually a three-dimensional lattice enclosed in a volume of marble and dolomite about 2 km long, 1 km wide and nearly 1200 m high. A trail, about 1 km, allows tourists to penetrate inside the Corchia and reach the heart of the mountain and karst system. Suitable for children.

We can organize, in cooperation with specialized tour guides, trips to the marble quarries of Carrara, unique in the world. They will accompany you in the visit of the basins of extraction finishing with a tasty stop in a typical "larderia" (where the famous lard is producted) in the town of Colonnata.

Cinque Terre, pearls of the Mediterranean strung close together along the Ligurian Coast. Riomaggiore, Corniglia, Manarola, Vernazza and Monterosso, seem suspended between the sea and the land, clinging vertically to the cliffs. These are the five villages which make up this amazing landscape. Five miles of rocky coastline are enclosed by two promontories, and five villages nestle on spurs of rock in tiny bays. The vine cultivation, which typifies the area, has helped to create a landscape unique in the world. Traditional dry-stone walls are a dominant feature on the steep hills descending to the clear sea, with its bays, ravines and delightful little beaches. But in addition to the sea, the Cinque Terre offers walks along hilly paths, treks between the villages, boat-trips, visits to Sanctuaries, and top quality food and wine. A National Park since 1997, the Cinque Terre are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Not suitable for cars, better if you drive to La Spezia and then by frequent local trains.
