A few miles of walking trails alongside the Poudre River and around the ponds. Excellent bird watching. One of the closest Natural Areas to my house and easy to get to (easy bike ride too!).

The primary campground of Pawnee National Grassland. Has a few trails, some nice camping spots. All rustic, there are outhouses and a source of water and not much else. Beautiful camping under the stars. And a birding hotspot.
