It's a lovely 20 minute walk into what seems like countryside on the edge of the city, all downhill among the allotments. The cafe has Gaudi-like carved woodwork, has wonderful food, family friendly, and well cared for animals opposite.

Sightseeing

The Harbourside is the historic hub of seafaring Bristol, from the early traders, to the slave traders like Edward Colston, whose infamous statue was toppled by protesters. You can take the ferry boat from the fountains by the Watershed up to the SS Great Britain and then walk to the Cottage Inn pub for a drink, make a circle around the whole harbour.

Going on the commuter ferry boat is one of the best ways to see Bristol. You pick it up by the fountains, which you can take a bus to from down the road to the Centre. Then take it up to the SS Great Britain, and the MShed and a nice cafe. Then pick it up again to go to the top of the harbour closer to the Suspension Bridge. You can then walk back along the waterfront to the Watershed and lots of other places by the quayside. www.bristolferry.com

There are lots of good bands, sometimes open mic. Doesn't have a website, just down on Stokes Croft, next to the The Social bar, also good.
