Storm Castle (or Castle Mountain) is a rocky peak that rises to an elevation of 7,280 ft on the east side of the Gallatin Canyon overlooking Beckman Flats. The hike is a gorgeous 5 mile out and back trail located just 30 minutes north of Big Sky in the Gallatin Canyon. This trail is a little over 5 miles and the payoffs at the top and along the way are spectacular.

Tons of shops and restaurants in the Town Center area of Big Sky. Conveniently located on the Skyline Bus route, jump off at the Town Center (Ousel Falls) stop and stroll around. Our favorite store is Montana Supply with great "trail to table" clothing and local Big Sky products!
