Some of the best Indian in the city. It's down a flight of stairs, in a lower level restaurant, so watch for the sign.

Parks & Nature

High Park is huge with so many things to do. The Grenadier Cafe has great brunch and lunch options (and is really fun for kids). There are multiple playgrounds (make sure you find the one with the castle, near the petting zoo!), a pool in the summer, skating in the winter, fields and streams and a lake and ducks and apple blossom season and cross country skiing and running trails and and and... definitely worth spending some time here! It's a great bike ride east on Annette, then south on High Park Avenue, through High Park, and down to the Lake Ontario bike path to either head west, or east into downtown.

It's hard to describe - the original intent was a store for girls (pre-teen and teen) that wasn't super pink and girly... but it has developed into an amazingly curated collection of clothes, jewellery, accessories and more for girls and women of all ages. Worth browsing before choosing one of the many excellent restaurants for dinner! Tell Kate that Meredith sent you and says hi :)
