Only 20-30 mins away-You can take a bus direct or a train (transfer at howth junction). This is a lovely fishing village with tonnes of great fish restaurants and has a wide variety of hiking trails along coastal cliffs and up over howth head.

Portmarnock is located next to Malahide 5 mins on bus or 25min walk along a beautiful scenic coastal path. There are a number small rocky beaches and a peer with ladder for sea swimming. Further along the wall there is a beautiful blue flag 5 mile long Sandy beach.

Malahide castle is an amazing place to visit, with forest walks, cafes and the castle itself! The Castle has a long history and the tour inside is highly recommended.
