This pub is very welcoming, with a limited, but very good menu for evening meals (good portions!). On sunny days you can take your drink out onto the beach. They also have a big screen and show films sometimes.

Parks & Nature

Newhailes is the estate of a stately home (which you can still see round at times) and is lovely to walk round. There's a little gift shop and cafe from May to October too.

A beautiful garden of one of the big houses in Inveresk village, now owned by the national trust. It's really worth a visit - absolutely beautiful! On the way home, you can pick up ice creams at Lukas, an Edinburgh institution - or De Rollos, which has a great selection of flavours.
