Getting around
The ferry is the easiest way to arrive
From the train station or the airport the closest ferry stop is called "Ospedale" and runs until 8 in the evening, after 8 you can get to Fondamenta Nove and take a 5-minute walk.
To go or arrive to/from the airport there is a special ferry called "Alilaguna", for timetables you can consult the website https://www.alilaguna.it/en/lines/linea-blu
Customs and culture
Garbage
In Venice the garbage is divided in 3:
- undifferentiated + wet (UMIDO);
- paper, cardboard and tetrapak (CARTA);
- plastic, glass and cans (PLASTICA).
Under the sink you'll find 3 containers and their bags, when full, the bags must be taken to the inner courtyard on the ground floor of the building, where there will be 3 bins.
