Dwerja is one of Malta’s national reserve area’s. This is where the azure window used to be before it collapsed in 2018. Check out the inland sea, the blue hole, fungus rock and nice spots to swim and chill.

City advice

Getting around

Rent a vehicle / bike

Even though Gozo is a small island, to get the most out of your experience my advice would be to rent a vehicle. Keep in mind that like in the UK in Malta we drive on the right. There is different places to rent a car, scooter, electric bicycle or use the Wizascoot app for temporary rental paid by minute/hour.
Don't miss

Check out the Citadella

The Citadel is one of the nicest things in Victoria, Gozo’s Capital. There is many nice restaurants too.
Customs and culture

Gozo is very catholic

Topless sunbathing is not allowed for women in Malta. Gozitans are very friendly but they can get upset if you cross there land when hiking. Ask me for the best hidden trails and beaches. If you manage to find a local farmer try and buy some gbniet (cheese). Locals know best:)
