Never had a bad meal here, we love this place. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Toilets were spotless. We will definitely be back. Have been hanging ing out for a roast dinner for weeks, got it today. Food wonderful. Staff lovely. Very modern and clean-cut RSL with out-door dining space and great militaria on display. All staff from front door to the bar and dining-floor were amazing. A really great experience

Pretty good, was busy considering the relative location from the town centre. Food was fresh and tasty. The broth for the beef pho was complex and hearty at the same time, tasted authentic. Loved the special pineapple seafood fried rice, it was very garlicy and the scallop, mussel and prawns seemed very fresh. Would come back again Food is so fresh and beautiful. Must try it when you come to the island Very nice food. Staffs were so friendly. Hidden gems in the island. Must try when you come but table booking is needed.

Food was awesome! Staff were extremely friendly, the staff service was beyond exceptional. Would definitely come again for Mexican on the island. Highly recommend everyone getting ice cream nachos!!! Fantastic service. Very attentive wait staff and the food was really good. Great vegetarian options and not covered in melted cheese. The slow cooked beef was a huge highlight. Will definitely make this a regular dinner option while we are on the island. Fantastic service and very chilled environment. Went there with my partner for a date night and cannot recommend it enough. The food was spot on and the portions were great. Other than an accidental broken glass (promptly cleaned up and disposed of) the night was perfection. Thank you team for an amazing night.

A friendly local café in the little city of Cowes. We came for breakfast & ordered the Chook N Pig (bacon, scrambled egg & maple syrup on the side) from their savoury waffles. Perfectly cooked and the waffles weren't sweet, so it went very well with the combination. They have organic coffee, and lovely staff A great little place for breakfast. Very friendly staff. They have child seats if you need them. Absolutely loved the food, Maria was great! We tried the chocolate Cuban chai balls- blown away. The truffle scrambled eggs perfectly cooked, and the roasted vegetables went well with it. My husband’s Elvis waffle , loved the maple bacon ! Good ambience

Delicious food. Stopped here for a quick bite for breakfast. Great food, friendly staff, nice place to grab some breakfast. Brilliant service and fantastic food on a busy Saturday morning. Extremely accommodating with the kids and seating The cafe was incredibly busy but at no time did we feel rushed or ignored. Our meals, kusundi mushrooms and egyptian eggs, topped off with hand made chai, were delicious and our eggs done to order perfectly. The staff were amazing. Very pleasant and the service was prompt. I would highly recommend Waterboy Cafe.

Typical summer pizzeria, well air-conditioned, bright inside, excellent background music. The tables and bathrooms were clean and fragrant. Very interesting is the idea of contextualizing the restaurant, with the international motorcycle circuit, where it is possible to admire the suits and helmets with the dedications of the great champions on them. As for the pizza, unfortunately, I must note that it is not up to the standard, in fact the dough was not very leavened and also the capricciosa with that ham sticks was neither good nor beautiful to look at, I suggest you review the recipe of your capricciosa. One of the best if not the best Italian food I've tasted in a while and the prices are reasonable as well. Strongly recommend a visit. Great job Chef, well done and thank you

I came in with high expectations based on previous reviews, but Thai on the Island FAR surpassed these!! Quite possibly the best Thai I've eaten in Australia. Authentic, wholesome, plentiful, fresh, delicious... every meal hit the target. We will most certainly be back anytime we visit the Island. Thankyou for a truly enjoyable meal. This place is amazing. So much flavour in the food. Looks like we have our go to restaurant in PI. Super delicious but extremely spicy! 🥵 As the owner in the restaurant called it, “The Real Deal” 😆🇹🇭 No compromise on heat level. The green curry, som tum, fried rice with prawns and pineapple, Thai mango ice cream and banana dumpling with coconut ice cream were fantastic. Hits every single taste bud. Worth every sweat and fiery mouth feeling. The mango and coconut ice creams were so delicious and refreshing. First time trying coconut ice cream and it’s now one of my favourites. Was looking forward to try the mango and sticky rice dessert but was not in season. Simple and basic restaurant set up. We enjoyed the food. Will definitely come back again when we do visit Philip Island. Cautious to those who can’t tolerate spicy heat.

Came by this restaurant quite by chance. We were booked into Cheeky Goose & they weren’t open!!! And thank goodness for that as we wouldn’t have found this little treasure. This place was exceptional. The young man that served us was fantastic - a big thank you. Food was delicious. We ordered a few plates & shared… Greek beer - is THE best!! It was a Sat and we had difficulty in securing a table for dinner. Went to a couple of the listed restaurants and bistros but were told they were fully booked. Being hopefuls, we bravely stomp into Bani’s and noticed all the tables had a “a reserved” sign with names on it… except for one table , outside facing the sea. We asked if we could have that table for 3 and Raj, courteous, caring and great customer service looked into our needs. We expressed that we only wanted to have a quick dinner and he suggested that we take the table if we could finished by 7pm. Very quickly we placed our orders and our food came out within mins, cooked to the right temperature, presented in the proper manner, and service was focused “towards customers’ satisfaction”. We enjoyed the meal, enjoyed the view and most of all, enjoyed the service extended to us. Great job Raj and team… keep up the good work in representing Bani’s . Had lunch the other day with some friends and I must say, we all agreed that we just had one of the best lunch/food in the island. The food was well plated & presented, the food looked appealing, the portion size was very generous and most importantly it tasted even better. Last but not the least, the service was really efficient and friendly. I will definitely make it a priority to have lunch/dinner next time I'm in the island.

Very nice place to drop in and have a bite. Staff was very friendly. It does get busy, but we were lucky we got there when it just opened. Food was amazing and staff are friendly. Kids liked the window views. Would definitely go back again. Beef tartare was great and full of flavour. The gnocci is a must try as well! Absolutely beautiful food and atmosphere, a lovely spot to sit with a view of the pier. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. Kids loved their meals and gelato after, everyone was happy. Look forward to coming back and trying some other things on the menu, good value for the quality of food. For those saying the pasta is uncooked, it’s exactly as it should be - beautifully Al dente. We had such a fantastic time here that we came back for dinner next day. Charlie was such a great waitress too she gave us a beach view each time. The food was divine especially the funky pizza (recommended by Charlie). Even before you put the food in your mouth you could already taste it cause it was that flavourful. Would also recommend trying their marinara and steak!

The location is great with an awesome view of the pier in Cowes. Can get crowded, so you need to be prepared to wait for a table The coffe is really good, i love the food and their costumer service is fantastic. I got this awesome dish you see in the photos but theeggs were hard poached and not what I expected so the replaced the whole dish with another and I'm enjoying my delicious breakfast now This place is a hidden gem along the esplanade off the main street of Cows, I had just finished my golf game. My wife and I were looking for a place to have lunch. We decided to go to M&O Cafe. It was a great decision the food was awesome, the service was excellent and quick. Were very good in implementing COVID19 processes with checking certificates. We had Salt and pepper squid, and karage chicken. The menu is very good and is very good value for money. Highly recommend this Cafe for lunch if you are ever in Phillip Island.

The staff were so lovely especially Shelly who helped my partner celebrate my birthday with a candle on our deserts as a surprise. The food was delicious.. probably by far best pork ribs I’ve had. We were lucky enough to get a dinner reservation on New Year’s Eve even though they’re so busy! Thankyou so much for having us. Super popular dining spot in Cowes - you definitely need to book in advance to get in here. Wonderful friendly service, great atmosphere, and excellent menu. Huge wine selection on offer too, both local and international. If there’s nothing on the wine list you like, you can select something from the wine racks. We had a superb Provençal rosé - very well priced too. On the menu the meat board is delicious and perfect for sharing. All covid protocols are in place and adhered to which is really great. Highly recommended!

We had delicious meals, somewhere between fine dining and pub which is perfect as you get excellent food, prepared to perfection and don't leave hungry. Prices were on point too. As a beer lover, I have to say great beers, the IPA is good and the Koala Pale is excellent. Staff were attentive and helpful. The food here is great, especially the beef pie. There’s a great selection of beers (of course), including a sampling tray of four different beers. It’s dog friendly if you eat out on the balcony, which is our preference. The staff are really friendly. Have eaten here a few times, and will be back again in the future.

Most amazing service today from the staff at Purple Hen winery today. Had a tasting and then received a lovely discount on our wine purchase. A very generous pate platter too. Well done to Purple hen. It felt very covid safe too. Such a beautiful experience. Incredible chardonnay with an incredible view. The cheeses were absolutely delicious and can 10/10 recommend the dukkah. Incredible customer service on a busy day. Will be our new spot to go to on a lazy day Delicious and interesting wine! An Island favourite. SA wine maker, so reds and whites very nice indeed. Fabulous spot to stop

the experience was one of, if not the best service we have ever received. The staff are genuinely the kindest, most beautiful hearted I'd ever had the pleasure of meeting, equally matched was the standard of food, drinks, and atmosphere. We can not wait to visit again. A huge shout out to the beautiful women who went out of their way to be kind, endearing, and uplifting, you are the essence of our experience. They went out of their way to accommodate us in short notice, during what was planned to be a busy day for the winery. Phenomenal customer experience. You should be very proud of your staff. Sightseeing

Worth every penny spend. Lots of friendly wallabies, kangaroos, emus, ducks , birds roaming around freely. Kids really enjoyed feeding them. Recommended to take some drinks as we would need to walk through lots of trails in the park. Would suggest to pick any days without rains to have a better experience. Koalas were exceptionally active😀 Staff were friendly and suggested to us various options to make the visit worthwhile. Must visit for kids and family to enjoy close encounters with few of Australian animals and birds. Great day out for all ages. Wildlife are super tame and able to be hand fed. Please don't chase the animals, they're all beautiful. The reserve is bigger than expected. I'd recommend enclosed shoes. Entry cost is roughly $20/adult, includes a bag of feed. Additional bags can be purchased for $0.50 each. Family pass available for $50, 2 adults abs up to 3 children.

The Pyramid Rock Lookout, is a beautiful spot on Phillip Island. It's a little way out from the main road, you will be on a gravel road so keep to the speed limit. When e arrived there are good signage to get to the lookout. I have to say the board walk to the lookout was very well maintained and in great condition. On a sunny day , it's a beautiful place to visit. Saw an echidna the day we went - lots of wildlife about that day. Lots of parking and a very easy walk with beautiful views. Wear a hat and sunscreen. The walks are very easy, so almost anyone can do them, also the Broadwalks are in good condition Stunning views, occasionally interrupted by the coastguard helicopter, but otherwise a worthwhile visit to the second most southerly point on the island. Enjoy the countryside driving down the easy gravel track to get there. Great views. Really serene. Highly recommended.

A must walk at low tide, firstly walking along the rocks for 1klm, then a small cliff will get you a great view of the wreck. Then clamber down to walk around the wreck and its scattered hulk. Then climb up the cliff face nearest to the wreck and get a superb view of the wreck and Kitty Miller Bay, a much easier walk back to the car park. Good footwear is recommended. Wasn't expecting that at all! We went late in the day so the tide was heading in. Followed the walking track to a steep decline down to the shipwreck. Amazing views, if only they would build a staircase down Far from a 'formal' tourist spot, but all the better for it. A rugged walk to the view of a well and truly decayed piece of shipping history. Pop along at sunset for an amazing experience! Excellent picturesque walk from car park. The walk along the shore is lined with boulders so proper shoes and care is required to get there. There is also a trail above the cliffs that is easy going although at the end a steep descent that might not be suitable to elderly though kids found it easy. The wreck is a fun site to visit with plenty of discussions about it to be had with kids. You can walk right up to it at low tide!

Awesome views and fantastic walkways in amongst the penguins burrows. A beautiful place for a walk and to take some breathtaking photos of the rugged scenery. There are seals that live on the distant rocks though youll need a good pair of binoculars to see them. The visitor center is excellent with details of the local wildlife and a cafe, and sheltered views for when it gets too windy. An excellent place to visit. Highly recommended. Stunning scenery as you walk along the Broadwalk. Worth a visit. Can do the penguin parade after you finish the Broadwalk. Better still, walk down from the Nobbies to the penguin parade. It is very pleasant and you will see many different animals along the way. You can experience different kind of a place entirely filled with pyramid rock along the shore, pale blue waters, wooded paths, great scenic all over the way, that's one of the great place to visit in Australia. MUST COME! Penguins are so cute, customer service is so nice l, and the views are so pretty. Overall, super great location that is a must when travelling around here. The little penguins are cute, and the facility is very environmentally friendly. Seeing those little guys walking along the path made by their little foot over long periods of time is heartwarming! It a life memory beyond anything someone cab describe. Must see with your own eyes!!! While photos of the penguins are strictly forbidden, I attached a few pics from the boardwalks. Cheers!!!!

SO BEAUTIFUL and VERY UNDERRATED!!! This is the perfect spot to camp the sunset and more importantly there is rarely anyone here in the evening Just magic! I sat here and read for hours! Love it so much. Nice drive around the coast from Nobbies and this is one of the spot that looks out onto the beach for the penguin parade. Small lookout area that you can get into to view.

Beautiful spot for photos at sunset. Easy walk to the beach. We even sorted some penguins under the stairs. You need to leave the car park before 8pm as they shut the road off from traffic to protect the penguins as the migrate up all of these beaches at sunset The old jetty ruins are a must to shoot when at Phillip island. Just need to be mindful of you park inside the park that they close the gates at dusk and you could get locked in. I would suggest parking outside the gates and walk down the road or beach. It's a great spot to do astro photography too Nice views of the ocean. Good spot to surf if you want a surf.

Lovely little bay, and at low tide you can walk (carefully) over the rocks at either side for some views that are well worth the trouble. Facing out to the ocean, if you head right there is a small trail that makes footing a little easier This spot is awesome! Very secluded and off the beaten track. Never a lot of people here which is a positive. At low tide you can swim/walk out to the deeper water and explore the rock pools. I’m sure this spot would be awesome with goggles so you can see what’s happening under the water. In our trek into the water we saw plenty of toadfish, whiting, flathead and even a little flounder. The spot is quite shallow for the majority of the beach, so if you want to swim it’d probably be better in high tide. A great secluded bay with volcanic outcrops and a quiet beach perfect for kids. A cool shipwreck is only a short hike (20 min) away.

Amazing view of ocean and red rock formation. Not suitable for swimming. But perfect place for photography. And quiet place to be listening to the wave and watching birds and kids playing with golden color sand. A great spot to take energetic kids to explore and climb around (supervised of course). Photogenic place, visit during low tide to get the most out of it. Lots of parking and there are showers and toilets. Be better prepared than we were by taking slippers, water and wearing appropriate clothing to go to the caves.

Lovely place for a walk on a sunny day with little wind. Bit smelly though with the tide going out! Nice Jetty to fish off. Caught a ton of toadies. But came back and got one snapper. Not much else going for it. It's just an old Jetty A quiet retreat from Cowes on Philip island. Sleepy bay with few shops only Post Office, bottle shop and small store. The bay is a haven fie small craft such as sailing boats and powered pleasure craft. Also the ferry destination.

Nice rock formations just to the right of the pier (If facing towards the water). Nice climb up and down and great place to sit and dip your feet in if it’s warm enough. Well worth the visit as there are shops nearby and a playground and bbq area. Lovely clean park looking over the water. BBQ areas are always clean. Picnic tables and bench seats to watch the children play. Toilets are just a short walk away along the beach front. Photo of the view of the water from the playground Excellent area for those coming for a day or during a longer stay. This is right on the point and a nice easy walk from the main shopping area. Access to two beaches that are either side of the point. Once has the pier the other stretches for some distance. Both areas are safe for swimming but do watch the little ones. At the point there is a wonderful playground with plenty of different choices of equipment. There is a water fountain, barbeques under cover, tables, chairs, bike rack stand and even some elements for personal fitness training.. Note that dogs are not permitted here. Showers and toilets are available nearby as well. Certainly wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram/Stroller accessible. Good parking but do watch the time limits as the parking inspectors are vigilant. Eateries are nearby. So grab yourself an ice cream and head on down for a lovely day on the beach.

Great little place everyone was happy and nice especially Donna is lovely my daughter loved going on her rides because she is so happy and full of energy she really loves what she does so thanks for a great night It was great, friendly staff, good for the family, take away foods, we had a good time The rides & games take between 6 to 10 tickets per person so look u can go through your tickets rather quickly BUT we felt we got a pretty fair go on each ride. Luckily I bought our tickets online. Because there were 6 of us, I got 2 of the $70 worth of tickets for $50 deal (which is ONLY AVAILABLE TO BUY ONLINE) which for $100 gave us 140 tickets. BUT IF u do need extra tickets you CAN buy them at 1 of the ticket booths around the carnival. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN & LOVED IT SO MUCH. Have been here multiple times over many holidays. Great atmosphere. A bit pricey but it's fun for everyone.

It would be a memorable moment to enjoy feeding kangaroos and playing with them in the woods The best kangaroo feedings we ever experienced.

If you love speed, cars and feel the adrenaline as the roaring engines and smell of burning tyres arises in the atmosphere, this is the right place for you. Check out Philip Island's Grand Prix calendar of events for races, drive day, championship rounds and sprints. Check out all different racing cars and experience motorsport adventure! Super track, best gocarts I've ever driven. It's a must do if your ever in Melbourne. Well priced and organised. But you must book on line to get your timings booked in. Extremely exciting place for the Forza and F1 lovers..It gives thrilling experience for F1 and Go karting...The track is exact replica of the F1 track in the vicinity hence we can resemble the challenges faced by F1 drivers during the race..You can even take kids in Tandem carts if they're more than 200mm. But if you want to really try your limits, I'll recommend driving solo...

Had an awesome time at Clip n climb with my kids while we were on holiday. They have a range of climbing walls with varying difficulty. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for parents. Amazing experience . Crew is very experienced and helpful ,we went with our 18 months kid and 5 years kid.It was easy to go with kids because of crew as they engaged well with the kids . So many activities to do. Must visit place. Super fun , very clean premises, clear instructions and helpful instructors . My 9 yr old daughter absolutely loved all the climbs of varying difficulty. I tried a climb for the first time ever thanks to a friendly instructor, Sarah. Much harder than the kids make it look! My upper body is aching but it was so worth it.

A great option for a rainy PI day, with some great arcade games and laser tag (which we didn’t get to on this visit) on top of the bowling! The lanes all seem recently updated, the balls all seem quite new and in good condition, and have all the modern features like auto-bumpers for the kids. Overall the whole place appears really clean and well-looked after - which you can’t say about all bowling alleys… even the shoes were clean and lacked that “bowling alley stale” smell! It also has a great free indoor playground area which our littlest guy really enjoyed! Our only complaint was that the kitchen wasn’t open when we visited (but it was a Thursday lunchtime, out of school holidays, so I guess demand is not there!). We spent 3 hours playing ten pin bowling, table tennis and laser tag. Very friendly staff, great value for money and excellent facilities. We rate Phillip Island Ten Pin Bowling and the Penguin Parade as the top 2 attractions to see. Thanks for a great time again. Great, friendly staff, bumpers and ramps available for the little ones.

That said this place was WELL Worth the visit. So many interesting artefacts, helicopters, tanks, planes, and so much more. A great light and sound show to explain the history of Australian involvement. Well done to all the volunteers that make this museum great. Thank you service men and women for your service. Worth a visit. For the history. Price of admission is very reasonable . We spent just under 2 hours there. Every little bit of free space is taken with props and info, but not in a cluttered way. Very easy to walk around and very informative. If you are around the area pop in. Incredible musem! Do not miss out on coming here. We were amazed with the amount of information and items on display. The volunteers are so lovely too. We were all so glad we came. You can easily spend the whole day here!

My partner and I visited the Mingara gallery while in town for our anniversary holiday - some amazing paintings and pottery pieces, a friendly and knowledgeable curator that also has some lovely pieces of his own on display, and a bonus doggo to boot as a second curator Great little gallery. Only one of its kind on Philip island. This gallery has an excellent array of contemporary art covering a diverse range of styles. The owner, Noelle, is a passionate collector and an artist in her own right and a wealth of knowledge. Previous reviews criticising the gallery and Noelle seem to be focussed mainly on parking issues. It can be a dangerous corner if people park in strange places. You have to park in the car park provided. Then all is well and its all about Art. Noelle and Rod have always happily engaged with students, including my son and daughter and provide great insight into Art and the running of a gallery. They do this regularly especially with students from the local schools. It is great having this gallery on Philip island and always worth a visit as the artwork displayed changes regularly along with the permanent collection.
