Pub and restaurant, our favourite. Nice secluded (but often busy) garden. Good idea to book especially on Friday or Saturday. Walk down the hill (30 minutes) and get the bus back.

This is Bath City's art gallery. It has a permanent exhibition upstairs and touring exhibitions downstairs. Very good quality and child friendly. Usually quiet - seating area upstairs has comfy chairs and a coffee machine.

Tale a stroll along the towpath of the K&A from Widcombe to Sydney Gardens where you can go through a lovely old white-painted iron gates into Sydney Gardens and down to the Holburne Museum.
