Hiking

Walk up Sargent Place and take Sargent Court to the right to get to this "hidden gem". It's a huge park, only slightly smaller than Griffith Park, but most Angelenos don't even know about it.

One of the best truly Mexican restaurants (think Mexico City) in a lovely outdoor setting near the LA River on the edge of Frogtown. Don't miss the Paloma! Book on Resy for dinner and weekend brunch, but lunches during the week are easy without a reservation

No reason to squeeze into the original location just a bit further down on Sunset when you can pick up or Postmate this top-of-the-line ramen to eat at the house. There's even a Silverlake Ramen in Atlanta now I hear, so that's enough said.
