We love this place. You get excellent views of Kenilworth Castle and it has an award winning beer garden where you can relax with a drink. A little more expensive than the Clarendon Arms but you are paying for style and ambiance.

The owner Ryan is the Head chef and serves excellent food. His wife Charlotte runs the restaurant. Prices are reasonable. I recommend making a reservation as they are always fully booked.

Sightseeing

Located right next to us, Kenilworth is one of England’s most magnificent castles. First built in the 1120s and a royal castle for most of its history, it was expanded by King John, John of Gaunt and Henry V. In 1563 Elizabeth I granted it to Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester, who converted Kenilworth into a lavish palace. The castle’s fortifications were dismantled in 1650, and the ruins later became famous thanks in part to Walter Scott’s 1821 romance Kenilworth.

There's a lot of history in Coventry. Remains of a cathedral destroyed by bombing during World War II, with scenic tower climbs.
