Lovely way to spend a sunny afternoon in the Summer months. Listen to live music in the apple orchards with cider and cocktails served from the Somerset Cider Bus and a picnic or lunch from the visiting food wagons. A very relaxed event held most Saturdays. Tours of the cider farm are also popular with visitors. 360 degree views from the top of Burrow Hill are fabulous and a sundowner picnic in clear weather is just spectacular. https://www.somersetciderbrandy.com/

South Petherton is small but perfectly formed. The local pub, The Brewers Arms often shows sports fixtures and there is also a restaurant with a varied and delicious menu. A few independent gift shops and the usual; butchers, bakers and green-grocers and a couple of cafes for a cuppa and cake or lunch. We have a lovely restaurant called Holm which has recently opened in South Petherton. It has received wonderful reviews in the national press and we understand visitors travel a long way just to visit.
