Happy Hour is the way to go!
It's a great habit to get into checking the website and even calling a restaurant to confirm their happy hour specials and times BEFORE you go!
Generally happy hour will be at almost every bar / restaurant in Orlando between 3 and 7 PM Monday through Friday. We call weekends "amateur nights" because you'll always pay full price, have to deal with more people, wait times, less privacy, etc.
Be a pro like us and go for happy hours! This is a service industry city and these establishments are competing for your business! Relax, beat the rush, and save upwards of 50% off!

NEVER underestimate the Hotels and Resorts!
Even though you will be lodging at our unique and private Airbnb home, never discount the hotel and resort bars and restaurants... they are some of the BEST experiences we've had in terms of quality, service, and a nice little getaway! All you need to do is call and make a reservation, if that. No lodging necessary :)
Getting around
Avoid travel during PEAK rush hour times!
Getting around in Orlando is not bad at all... usually everything is within a nice 20 minute drive. But, if you don't plan your travel wisely, that time will at least double and will not be fun.
Weekends anything goes... But, during the week... do not leave when school is letting in (8 AM) or out (2:30 PM).
Try to travel between 9 AM and 2 PM or between 3 to 4 PM. Otherwise wait until after 7 PM to travel if you can.
