Food Scene

The Coup specializes in vegetarian cuisine and can accommodate gluten free and vegan dinners. They seasonally change their menu which makes it difficult to pick a favorite but the last time I was there I had the dish, giant panda, so delicious. They never disappoint.

Ice cream is my favourite thing, followed by roasted marshmallows. I absolutely love their "Happy Camper" sundae! You can purchase single scoop cones of ice cream, or take away pints of their most popular flavours.

Where else can you get a hot dog slathered in peanut butter, jelly and captain crunch? Odd combinations but if you have a curious appetite, I'd say try it!

Calgary has an amazing Zoo. This Zoo is filled with animals that our loved and cared for. It is not only a place to visit in the spring/summer/fall but also in the winter where it hosts "Zoo lights" where the zoo is transformed by beautiful lights. It is definitely something to see.
