This is a great coffee shop just beside the number 16 bus stop which takes you to the airport directly from near our house. There are freshly baked pastries and yummy coffee. Also yoga classes out the back.

Fantastic french pizza place which has breads and coffees too. This place is open in the evening and has a pizza oven, it is very casual and you turn up and share tables. There is wine and beer on the menu and fabulous pizzas made with emmental cheese.

This is an amazing Korean restaurant on Meath Street a 10 minute walk from the house. All the meat is free range, there is an open kitchen, the staff are friendly and the food is delicious. You can’t book and so just put your name down and go and have a drink in Lucky’s if there is a short wait.

This is a great pub in town with Dj's playing great tunes downstairs in the basement until late. It is always busy and very friendly. A great place to meet the locals.

St Patrick's cathedral is a ten minute walk from our house. It is where Jonathan Swift was Dean of the cathedral and is one of Dublin's most iconic buildings. You can do a tour and soak in the history or just look at it from the lovely park beside it.

Only 5 minutes walk from our house this whiskey distillery offers tours and tasting, there is also a delicious cafe open all day and a shop and a bar upstairs if you want to just buy the whiskey and sample.

The visiting exhibitions you have to pay for but they are interesting and have brilliant variety. Great for a walk around and you could walk from the house as it is only 20 minutes.
