Hyalite Basin: An easy, popular, 1.3 mi hike (1 way). Make your way through moist coniferous forest with moss hanging on the trees. Occasionally as you go along the forest opens up and present huge views of the cliffs that surround the area. All the while you dip in and out along the creek. Eventually, you arrive at the falls, where there is a boulder field and a bench to sit and enjoy a picnic lunch.

One of several companies offering a variety of trips, MT Whitewater Rafting also offers ziplining for those preferring excitement off the ground vs. on the water.
