our current favorite burger spot – their Oy Vay Guey green chili burger with an add-latke is a southwest/Jewish deli hybrid of insane deliciousness, but this place requires an Appetite. Sandwich shop on Burnet is also excellent

tons of great BBQ options in Austin. We say skip the line at Franklin and hit Micklethwait, an amazing spot based out of a vintage trailer in East Austin. Don’t miss the pork ribs.

“Supergroup” of restaurants - Aaron Franklin (of TV-famous Franklin BBQ) and Tyson Cole (of Uchi – very hot sushi spot) joined forces for this Asian Smokehouse. It is delicious and often quite packed, so showing up early or late is a good idea.
