Here you can find a nice local restaurant (Sjömarket). Their fish is amazing and the service (while sometimes a bit on the slow side) is friendly and welcoming 😊
They only open in summer so it is advised to check their website and to call for a reservation beforehand.

Järvsö Zoo is about 1h15min by car from Andersfors. The road there leads through beautiful sceneries with various forests, lakes, fields, and some interesting neighbourhoods as well. There are also a few other sightseeing places such as an old blast furnace to see along the way.
The Zoo itself consists of a beautiful walk through the forest where you have a chance to see local animals such as elk, reindeer, wolves, bears, and a lot of different kinds of owls. For this walk I would reccommend to calculate between 1.5 - 2.5 hours, depending on how long you will stay at the various sights.
The park is well organized and clean, the atmosphere is amazing and the food that is offered in the small restaurants in the park is tasty - definitely worth a visit 😊
