There is always something going on here. Still called The Airfield locally as it was a wartime airfield and satellite to nearby Tangmere. There are 2 cafes. The Flying School in the middle of the track and The Control Tower inside the gate on the left. They both serve great locally produced, home cooked food and you can watch the cars and the planes coming and going from both.

There is always something going on here. Still called The Airfield locally as it was a wartime airfield and satellite to nearby Tangmere. There are 2 cafes. They both serve great locally produced, home cooked food and you can watch the cars and the planes coming and going from both.
About 30 minutes drive but such a good menu and a great location in another lovely village in the downs.
