Sightseeing

The Nature Center is an Albuquerque gem! One can sit quietly in the meditation room that overlooks the pond and wild life, or walk through their gardens, or walk down to the river for a picnic. It has an entrance to the bike trail that extends for miles running parallel to the river. It is a beautiful place to spend an afternoon. Great for the whole family!

Flying Star is a local favorite. They have the best gluten-free pancakes in town and they have a gluten-free carrot cake that is over the top! Their huevos rancheros are also spectacular. Everyone can find something they like on the menu!

This is a fabulous place to have a drink and walk around the lavender farm. Reservations for dinner and brunch must be made well in advance. It is pretty shi-shi but worth it for the experience!

Spa

I love to treat myself by getting a massage at Betty's and soaking in their hot tub and relaxing in their sauna. The atmosphere is really lovely, and they give you a big fluffy robe and slippers to wear that add to the luxuriousness of the visit.
