This is an unspoilt Island with an array of wildlife you may be lucky at the right time of year to spot a Puffin or Dolphins swimming near by. If you havent got very good sea legs, like myself, chose a calm day for you ferry crossing.

Arlington Court
This area is a bit further a field but in my opinion worth the drive. Lovely Walk and areas along the river where children can cool off with a paddle in the river.

A great way to get around on your bikes, you can join the Tarka Trail in many places and head toward the seaside village of Instow and carry on towards Yelland Fremington and to the historic town of Barnstaple

There is a short walk (10 mins) from the car park, which is free but quite small so get there early to make sure you get a space, down to the beach, where you can see the waterfall. You can also follow the South West Coastal path to the fishing Village of Clovelly which is about 4 miles or head the other direction to Peppercombe Beach which is about 2.5 miles to a nice secluded beach
