This is a great place for kids and adults alike to see lots of wildlife!!! This is a drive through safari experience. It’s a little bit of a drive from our house, but very enjoyable.

This is our favorite fine dining restaurant in Jackson. It is a little pricey, but the food is always phenomenal! Atmosphere and service is always great! Nice casual attire is fine.

If your visiting on a weekend, this is a great place to grab dinner and hear some live, local music. It has a New Orleans style vibe, with some great Cajun dishes. Drinks are great. If your lucky, you might get to hear our daughter’s band!

Backerman’s is a small Amish store, that also serves meals. They have really good sandwiches and soups. You can also buy local Amish food items to take home. It’s just a neat place to visit that’s not too far from our home. They usually have some cute animals out back to visit!

Great local restaurant for southwestern style food. The BEST fajitas (shrimp, chicken, and steak is my favorite)! Ask for green salsa (it’s worth the extra $1). Margaritas are great!
