Nestled on the bank of the Bow River, Bowness Park is one of Calgary's hidden gems. A great place to enjoy a nice sunny summer day with a picnic, or take a ride on the old miniature train. You can rent canoes and paddle through the picturesque lagoon or just read a book under one of the many large trees. In the winter time the lagoon is an excellent place to go ice skating.
