Places to eat and drink

Here are some of our favourite places to eat and drink in the local area. If you want any recommendations further afield please just ask!
Alma's is our go place for brunch/lunch in Harlesden. Sofia is a wonderful host and the food is delicious and generous - I also think she serves the best coffee in town! Great for all your usual breakfast faves but she also makes wonderful cakes amazing homemade quiche and salad, Swedish meatballs and crepes! Very reasonably priced too. Highly recommend.

The Royal Oak is a great, friendly local pub. They serve a wide range of draft beers and ciders and great food. They do amazing specials Mon - Fri - for example it's £8 for fish and chips on a Friday. Their roasts are fantastic quality and value.

Rubio is a brunch/coffee place by day and pizzeria by night. I think they are best for pizzas which you can have in or takeaway and they also deliver. They often have music events on as well.

Shops

Best places for essentials. There is a small shop just around the corner on St John's avenue for basic needs as well.
An Aladdin's cave of a grocery store. Wonderful in house bakery selling fresh bread and baklava. A bit of a Harlesden secret.
