Getting around

Buy a ticket for max 32 CZK

Public transport in Prague is easy to track on Google Maps. Almost all the tram/bus/metro stations are equipped with ticket machines. You can pay either with a contactless card or with Czech crowns in coins (the airport ticket machines also accept EUR coins). Paper money will be taken at the ticket counter only. As soon as you validate your ticket, it is valid for all the transport means (tram, bus, metro) for a limited time. For example, if you pay 24 CZK, then the ticket is valid only for 30 mins. Ticket for 32 CZK is valid for 60 mins, 110 CZK for 24hrs, 310 CZK for 72 hrs. The official exc

Exchange points - hidden commissions

Please, check the official exchange rate online before buying Czech Korunas. Some exchange points are using very manipulative technics with hidden commissions of up to 40%. Be careful with the cash machines as well. You better use your paying cards instead, thus avoiding purchases in cash.
