The Best Breakfast Spots
If there is one thing I love, it is BREAKFAST! I know most of the hot spots here in Calgary, and will share with you a few of my favourites. Please keep in mind that most of these restaurants are busy, and there may be some wait time involved. OEB is one of the only ones that takes reservations on the day-of.
Vendome Cafe makes a good London Fog, and though their menu changes often - it is always extremely well done!

OEB has something for everyone! If you have a sweet tooth, I recommend the "Do Not Even Go There" crepes. If you like savoury, my favourite is the "The Soul In A Bowl".

Monki has some wicked drip coffee, but their hash browns are to die for! I usually end up getting one of the egg's Benny - unless I feel like something spicy.. Then I get the Brisket Hash. SO GOOD!

If you like video =or arcade games, you will LOVE The Rec Room! Simply load up a bracelet with credits, and wrack up points playing games. They also have a bar/restaurant and allow you to walk around with alcoholic beverages.

In the winter months, there Calgary Zoo has the "Zoolights" on display! Thousands upon thousands of Christmas lights are hung, and guests wander through the zoo sipping hot chocolate. They also have a skating rink for a portion of the winter months - you can rent skates in site :)
