This is a weird little restaurant with a history here in Toronto. The name suggests an English cafe but the best food has to be the Thai noodles (Khao Soy is the best) and the Ping Gai.

This dumpling place is a steal and the food is awesome! They give you tea to start with at no cost. The downside is the atmosphere is no frills but the food definitely makes up for it.

They use liquid nitrogen to make delicious ice cream creations. Very Instagram-able and probably more tasty than the other touristy place called Sweet Jesus.

Best for gelato, drinking chocolate (try their spicy myan and the "shot" form is delicious), and solid chocolate with the map of Toronto on it for souvenirs. I used to work here just for the employee discounts!

This is a trendy restaurant in the very romantic Distillery District. The tapas style food can seem like a rip off, so just go there for a drink and enjoy the atmosphere.
