Walking distance and a great museum for art lovers. I highly recommend getting the Tate to Tate river boat- cheaper than tour boats and does the same thing! The destination, The South bank is great.

I recommend getting the no. 24 bus from Belgrave road up to Tottenham Court road. It is like a free sight-seeing tour taking in Westminster Abbey, Parliament, Trafalgar Sq etc.

This is a world class Science Museum. I can't recommend it highly enough for children. Free optional donation. Deep blue cafe good for food. Picnic space available. Launch pad but being refurbished.

Hyde park is a wonderful park filled with great things to see. The Lido is fun if you like outdoor swimming and for young children there is an excellent playpark with sunbathing & coffee for adults!
