A little more pricey than Live Sushi, this place is also more delicious! It's an easy (downhill and mostly flat) walk.

Iconic SF coffee! I recommend the Philharmonic or Soul Train. (Only pour overs. Famous for the Mint Mojito.)

A family owned (Russian) grocery store that has been in Potrero Hill since the 1800s, this is a hidden gem. The owners are super friendly -- and their deli is affordable and delicious! You can order whatever you'd like and sit on the secret back deck to enjoy your meal. Tell them Erin from Norm's Farms sent you! :)

Drinks & Nightlife

This is a dive bar and they only accept cash -- but the locals hangout here and they have easy and delicious bar food, including carne asada tater tots (!), bahn mi, and burgers.

Drinks and ... beef jerky! Where else can you get an incredible drink and a jerky sampler? No where that I've found. You'll enjoy it.

Known for their sour beers, they also have great (bar) food. Fun spot with a great back patio. You can walk here if you want -- head up Kansas and then take a right on 18th and use the foot bridge to cross the 101 and walk there through the Mission.

You can't actually hang out here, but I left you a clean growler in the fridge. Between the hours of 10:30 and 7:00, you can take this empty growler over the Anchor Brewing and get it filled upstairs for $8-12! (Please rinse the growler out and return it to the fridge when you're done.) Take your growler to the rooftop and enjoy the views and think about how lucky you are to be in Potrero Hill. :)

Parks & Nature

You can spot the Golden Gate Bridge here and walk on the (short) nature trails and check out the local community garden. Stop at Chiotras on your way home (I've included it in this guidebook) for a coffee, tea, or sandwich and take Rhode Island St. back home to enjoy the breathtaking views of the city and the Bay Bridge on your way back to the condo.

It's a festival with no music. People are celebrating birthdays, engagements, wedding anniversaries, and beautiful Saturdays in the city. Be sure to climb the hill for an incredible view of the city -- and spend a little extra time in the Mission for incredible Mexican food.
