Food Scene

Literally “the herbs market”. This is a traditional indoor market, filled with fruits, vegetables, meat and fish. It is very neat and clean and has several places to eat. There is a sit down fish restaurant combined with a huge fish market store. If you like local markets, this is a great one to visit.

You can try the best arrosticini (sticks of lamb). Great little restaurant serving authentic Abruzzese food! A real discovery! In the summer, you can sit outside, with the further advantage of not having traffic passing by.

One of our favourite spots in Bologna. Special atmosphere, great pasta (tortellini and pumpkin tortelloni are a must), low prices and great location. You can take this ladies pasta home or you can eat it sitting on few chairs in this little, tiny spot. But no worries, if it is full (which i is lot of times), you can take your pasta and eat in in a bar around the corner, with which they are connected.
