Great Tuscan Italian fare - not your basic pile of spaghetti & meatballs, but instead, handmade pillowy raviolis and and the like. Great selection of wines. Cozy, welcoming atmosphere. If you have a big party (e.g. six or more people), you can call for a private room.

Great "American" Mexican food, with excellent margaritas and sangria. Lots of tasty small plates. Great atmosphere, and not so expensive for a downtown St. Petersburg restaurant.

The "early bird" special - i.e. their happy hour menu - can't be beat for the price, especially if you don't need a giant steak dinner. Classy place, right in the Sundial Center in the middle of St. Petersburg.

The permanent collection is arranged in themed galleries throughout the museum. The galleries connect to one another, much like the stories in the art relate to each other -- Early West, Native Life, Native Artists, Frontier, Wildlife, New West. Just opened in 2018.

The Gulf beaches are beautiful - miles and miles and miles of beach. There are many "towns" along what is generally referred to as the "St. Pete Beach" area, and we frequently do the drive starting at the southern tip (Passe-a-Grille), all the way up to Clearwater. Every little town or village area is different, and most have public access points to the beach, as well as parking.
