While small, City Island has its own rich history. Just a 5 minute walk from our house the Nautical Museum is a great weekend activity if you don't want to head into the city.

Orchard beach is a great summer attraction. It's a nice walk (or bike ride) on the bike trail from City Island, and a great day-time getaway. Hiking trails in Pelham Bay Park are great too!

Pelham Bay Park is the largest park in NYC. The Hunter and Twin Island trails offer some of the best sights of the area, especially during sunset! Great for dog walking, romantic strolls, etc.
