Geat place to start a hike along the Water of Leith. Takes about 5 hours to walk all the way to BAlerno but there is a bus back! Lovely easy walk no big hills.

A great local hike. One of the highest Pentland Hills. There is a 4 hour circular route from the Flotterstone Inn. The Pentlands make for a fantastic day out. Quite strenuous.

Park here and climb Ben A'an for one of the best views in Scotland. Under 2000 ft so quite easy and a well marked path. Breathtaking vista from the top.

Under cover shopping mall. Free parking. It has a Marks and Spencer which is absolutely essential. Also quite a good Debenhams and lots of souvenir places for tourists. Also a great Cinema.
