If you want something speacial to eat, head to The Fanny Talbot. Fantastic bar and restaurant. Service is excellent and the food is created and cooked by a MasterChef Professional. The Lobster Rolls are delicious. Top tip - book well in advance for lunch or dinner.

A beautiful walk that takes you through ancient woodland and close to powerful waterfalls. Good pathways but it is steep in some places and uneven under foot. Great place to take children for a day out.

There are plenty of good walks around Cader Idris from accessible 30 minute walks to strenuous all day walks. Absolutely breath taking scenery.

The Mach Loop situated between Dolgellau and Machynlleth is regularly used for low level flight training. If you are lucky you will see fighter jets up close. More information about the Mach Loop and tips for seeing the training sessions can be found on the Mach Loop website.
