Fun family beach. If you're willing to hike just a little, park at Schooners and head north on the trail to Bowling Ball beach. If you go at low tide you will see how it got its name ;) Worth the extra effort to see the unique rock formations.

Super convenient location (right at the bottom of the hill) to our Anchor Bay house. Classic banana belt beach, perfect for those all too often days when the northwest wind is a-blowin'. You'll find shelter from the wind and a fun place to make sand castles. There is an entrance fee which is typically by the carload/family. Dogs are extra but permitted. http://www.abcamp.com
