Ashburton is a small town on the edge of Dartmoor. There is plenty to do and see. It has a colourful history including tin mining and a cattle market. It is full of historic buildings housing quaint shopping experiences. Exeter Inn has a legendary history involving both Sir Francis Drake and Sir Walter Raleigh! There are lovely walks and an arts centre ideal if you enjoy live music.
