Food scene

We highly recommend the Old Lahaina Luau for a fantastic evening. The food is excellent and the entertainment is the best! They serve every kind of Hawaiian drinks at a cute tiki bar and the hosts are the friendliest you will find. The luau is located in Lahaina on the waterfront. Do not miss this. They take reservations online well in advance as their shows sell out months ahead of time. A definite must do activity!

This is our favorite sushi restaurant. It is a small local owned restaurant with great ambiance and super friendly people. They do not take reservations and you are allowed to bring your own wine/beer/beverages to the restaurant as they do not sell alcohol. The bonus is also that they have a boat and catch much of their fish that they serve. They do have take-out. Foodie Guy Fieri visited Miso Phat Sushi on his chef's critic show and loved it.

On your way to the condo from the airport you will pass Leoda's on the right side of the Highway in Olowalu. If you love pies and baked goods, theirs are the best. They have excellent sandwiches, pot pies and side dish food also.

Teralani Sailing Adventures offers Sunset Dinner Cruises, Sightseeing and Snorkeling trips. The yachts will pick you up right on the beach at The Whaler Resort! The yachts are large comfortable catamarans. The food is very good as well as the beverages.

Just steps away from The Whaler Resort! Fantastic snorkeling and many times you will see the cliff divers off Black Rock. Visit exotic fish and giant sea turtles while snorkeling.

This is a day trip to drive to the beautiful town of Hana. Lots of curves in the road but well worth the drive. Stop along the way at many points of interest and see lots of beautiful waterfalls. There are also several shuttle bus companies who will do the driving for you and narrate the journey. Bring a picnic lunch. You can also purchase a cd at an ABC store called "The Hana Road Self-Guided Drive" and it will tell you when to stop along the way to see the sites.
