Getting around

public transport is free in Luxembourg

public transport is free is Luxembourg, unfortunately we don't have a bus-stop right at the campsite. On www.mobiliteit.lu you can find all timetables for busses and trains, nearest bus stop is Larochette Boltegnsteen or Nommern Aechelbur, both 2km

Luxembourd Card

you can buy a LuxembourgCard at the campsites reception, this gives you access to a range of museums, castles, attractions. it exists for 1, 2 or 3 days. https://luxembourgcard.lu
What to pack

for the hut :

the hut has 4 beds, sockets for electric, a heating and light. You have to bring your own bedding, e,g a sleeping bag and pillows. You use the campsites facilities for showers and toilet. Please be aware that this is a simple, small dwelling, not suitable for a longer stay, as there is no living room. A torchlight might be handy at night to go to the sanitary facilities.
Book before you go

bread and breakfast

between March1st and November 1st, the campsite facilities are open. You can order bread in the shop the previous day before 18:00h. You can also order breakfast in the restaurant the previous day before 18:00h. Restaurant and shop open 08:30
Useful phrases

late arrival

if you arrive later than 16:00, please advise through the airbnb messenger service, or send us an sms. If you arrive later than 21:00, we will put a map of the site with the key in front of reception door. Please leave your car at the parking and go to the hut in silence, as other campers might be sleeping or enjoying a quiet evening. thank you.
Useful phrases

checking in / checking out

please come to the campsite's reception for checking in. Bring along a passport or a valid i.d. for registration (drivers license is no travel document, sorry) The hut is available from 14:00h. On departure, you have to leave the hut at 12:00.
